Buying A Puppy The Facts!

12/4/2021

What are the facts of buying a GS puppy? First decide what this dog is going to be used for. Can you handle a German Shepherd to begin with? I can guarantee that some of them you will not be able to handle. There really are different types. Some are very high drive. What does this mean. A high drive dog will be ready to work at all times, a lot of these dogs are European. You will see them working as border patrol dogs, military dogs and Police dogs. I try to raise GSD to fit into a family atmosphere, I want him or her to enjoy the family. This means living in the house going camping and playing with the children. I want my dogs to protect family, if the need arrives. I want my families to treat my dogs like family and that goes a long way. The more you put into your dog the more you get back. All GSD’s need to be trained in basic obedience. Someone at the house needs to be in control of their pack and that means the the dog to!
